Really a wonderful and enlightening experience, the concern of the judicial system and the company response to the harmful effects caused by them to the public was really fascinating to know...#The best environmental museums in the world.
Yokkaichi municipal museum have a lot of information historical articles on what happened at the time the place was built it was a sad news a lot of pictures tells more about the incident, the place is calm and clean environment, they have a theater where you can watch our planet stars moon sun all the planets in a clear view is place of knowledge worth to visit.
Museum is really nice... Worth visiting
The planetarium was good.
The screening starts at 10:05 and the content changes depending on the time of day. 10:00 and 11:00 was for families. Even small children can enjoy it, and above all, I'm grateful for the small children who are okay with talking during the screening. The little one (preschooler) was happy to receive a glowing bracelet. At first, the story progresses through animation with the older sister in the hall, and then gradually progresses only through animation. I was glad that I was able to get a good night's rest at the end.
This museum and building didn't have any signboards at the entrance, so I felt it was a little difficult to find.
However, the great thing about this place is that the permanent exhibition is free. When you call out to the receptionist, they will ask you to come as you please. If you're used to it, you don't have to stop by the reception, instead take the elevator to the 3rd floor, go down to the 2nd floor, tour around, and then exit to the 1st floor. It's a system that beginners can't get used to. I wonder if they aren't even counting visitors.
When you enter the third floor, there is a corner celebrating local writers and an introduction to the Kurube Kanga Ruins. However, although it says Kuruba Village in the Yayoi period (see photo), there is no detailed explanation of the Yayoi period, just a mannequin sitting in a pit-style dwelling! ? Other than that, is most of the life in the Edo period? The space is occupied by reproductions of mannequins, giving it the feel of a set or something made up, which feels unfriendly for a museum. The third floor gives the impression of being disorganized, including the route.
When you go down the stairs, the second floor is a corner where you can learn about Yokkaichi Asthma, and I felt that it was important to keep this in place.
It's close to here, but this is my first time here. I came to see Takashi Ota's paper art on display!
The total floor area is 10,147.108㎡, and the site area is 1,590.397㎡. The 5th floor is a planetarium (550 yen), the 4th floor is a special exhibition (admission fee depends on the special exhibition), the 3rd floor is the museum's permanent exhibitions (Time and Space Highway, Fumio Niwa Memorial Room, Exhibition Hall Hakusatoi), and the 2nd floor is Yokkaichi Pollution and the Environment. Miraikan, 1st floor lobby (museum shop, library corner with information on pollution and environment)
There is no museum cafe, probably because Yokkaichi Apita is next door.
This time, due to time constraints, I mainly visited the 3rd to 2nd floors. I think I'd like it for about an hour.
The third floor is a permanent exhibition, and the road has been restored, which is quite common, but it's nice. Well, if you do this, the amount of exhibits will be reduced, so your viewing time will probably be shortened. Photography is prohibited in the Fumio Niwa Memorial Room.
The second floor is the Yokkaichi Pollution and Environmental Future Museum, and the exhibits here are very energetic. The contents of the battle at Yokkaichi Asthma are on display.
I parked in the adjacent Apita parking lot, had lunch at Saizeria, and then went to the planetarium. I had less than an hour until the time, so I headed to the area where I could go around for free. You can learn about old life and Yokkaichi asthma. You can feel the nostalgic Showa era atmosphere with the rooms of the old housing complex and the home appliances. A lot of ideas were put in place to make learning fun. You go to the planetarium a little early and line up in order, but there were people sitting in chairs waiting, so it was hard to know where to start and how to line up. There is a space towards the front where people can cross over, so I would like to see a proper separation with rope or paper. The venue is small. I sat in the middle, but it might have been easier to see if I sat at the back, as I sometimes had to turn my head to see. Also, it was a little hot in some places. The starry sky seen from Yokkaichi was very beautiful. The whole family fell asleep in the second half (lol). It was very soothing. thank you very much.
